The current owners acquired the unique archipelago property in 2017. That same year, a modern day meet-cute took place between a Swedish man and a California gal.

Little did they know that the following year would bring monumental and life-changing moments. A quaint little seaside town called Carmel-by-the-Sea would be the setting for their first date and marriage proposal and later that year they would elope.

Oaks-by-the-Sea pays homage to our beloved Carmel-by-the-Sea in California; a place we hold dear to our hearts.
